Job Title: Kitchen Hand
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a versatile team member who will take part in kitchen operations, food preparation, service support, and overall restaurant operations.
This role is essential in delivering memorable dining experiences by combining great food, smooth teamwork, and a positive atmosphere.
You will work closely with both kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure high quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
JOB OVERVIEW\/RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare, cook, and plate menu items with consistency and care
Create bento and takeaway meals while maintaining quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and work areas
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow
Assist with inventory management and stock control
Handle guest orders, reservations, and inquiries professionally
Support basic marketing activities to help attract new customers
Step in to assist team members as needed during busy periods
Develop bold flavors and visually appealing dishes
Contribute to a positive, energetic kitchen environment
Training and support will be provided to help you succeed in the role.

Experience
Strong interest in food, hospitality, or restaurant operations
Experience working collaboratively in a team environment (any industry)
Education and Qualification
Valid working visa in Japan
Skills
Ability to follow basic cooking and work procedures accurately
Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
Ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment
Language Skills
Conversational level or above in English
Competencies
Friendly, polite, and professional attitude towards guests and colleagues
Reliable, punctual, and responsible work ethic
Strong awareness of hygiene and food safety standards
Ability to perform job-related tasks that may involve standing and movement
【Preferred】
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant, kitchen, café, or food service setting
Experience assisting with food preparation or plating
Education and Qualification
Education or training in hospitality, tourism, or service-related fields
Skills
Culinary-related certifications or Food Sanitation credentials
Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and workflows
Language Skills
Conversational level or above in Japanese

Duty, Work Location & Scope of Changes
Duty: may be changed as determined by the company
Initial Work Location: one of the company’s properties in Niseko Area, Hokkaido
Scope of changes: company properties in Niseko Area, Rusutsu or Furano.
Training may be conducted at other location.
Employees may be required to work at different properties based on operational needs.
The initial assignment will be determined by the company.

Private Vehicle Commuting: Not permitted
Measures to prevent passive smoking: indoor smoking prohibited
Working hours, Days off & Overtime
Working hours \ Shift schedule: Up to 8 hours between 05:30 to 22:00
Days off: two days off per week (based on shift schedule)
Overtime: Yes
Monthly Average Overtime Hours: 10 hours per month
36-Article Agreement (overtime): Applicable (Due to seasonal factors and a high concentration of orders from general customers, periods of increased workload are expected)
